and now they are 10!

Ten years ago today, we were rushing to get Trevor's bedroom door planed so it would close smoothly, fit the car seats into our new minivan, etc. before our bundles of joy entered the world! It is hard to believe that they are already 10 years old!
They chose two different rice krispie treats to take to school (Emily-rocky road treats, Erin-peanut butter cup treats) for their birthday treats. They had five friends come home to help celebrate with them. They both chose to have dirt cake in place of a traditional birthday cake so Mom and I made these cute little individual pots for them to enjoy.
Their one special request for the night was to visit their "old" school that closed last year. It was fun to listen to them rehash their memories. Now, three of these girls are spending the night so they are busy playing the Wii, trying new hair styles, listening to music, giggling and talking.
Happy Birthday, Emily and Erin!
