The Masked Musketeer

This spring was the annual play performed by BHS students.  This year, they performed The Masked Musketeer.  Trevor played the part of one of the bandits that fought with swords. They spent several hours practicing the part. The performance of this part was very realistic....and fun!

Belated Birthday Post

It is hard to believe that Trevor is 15 years old.......and as tall as his dad, for a little longer! Trevor, you are grown into an awesome teenager. I hope you continue to stay sweet, kind and thoughtful.  You have made us so proud in so many ways.

Erin, you have grown into a sweet and sensitive young lady.  Be yourself and don't worry about the opinions of those who do not really matter.  You have so many talents that make you special.  This past year you have shown that no matter the tests that come your way, you will persevere.  We are far more proud of you than you will ever know. I can't believe you are already 12!

How quickly the past 12 years have gone, Emily! The smiles you have brought to our face and the proud moments you have given us. Your first year in middle school has proven what a hard worker you are but you still know how to have fun! Your quiet talents show so much of what goes on in your creative mind.  Stay sweet and true to what really matters!

There is nothing quite like raising a child and watching them become their own person.
What a privilege........

Soundwave 2014

Soundwave (show choir) of BHS did a terrific job with their closing concert.  It was fun to see what they had been working so hard on throughout the 2013-2014 school year. Absolutely amazing to see high school kids perform in that way and it is so fun to see how the kids have grown in singing and performing from the beginning of the year!  Keep it up, Trevor!

Trevor with his show choir partner. Sadly (for us!) she was a senior!
All the rides she gave were certainly much appreciated!
Best of luck in whatever your future brings you, Gretel!

Photography of Nature

Emily has been interested in photography for a few years but recently she has started taking little hikes around our property with her iPod.  Until recently, I thought it was just for listening to music.  Here are a few of the pictures that she had taken.

I love the angles that she uses to take pictures.  Keep taking pics, Em! I love what you are able to capture.
