During conferences for Erin, her teacher showed me a writing assignment they had to do. I was working in the classroom at the time this assignment was given to the students....they had to do a descriptive writing from the view point of a pair of shoes. I wasn't sure what I would write if given that task!! However, it was a breeze for Erin---and I should have known! She wrote about this pair of shoes that Auntie Al donated to us since they don't fit her anymore. Unfortunately, I couldn't wear them either - which pleased Erin immensely! I will try to post her writing when I have a copy of it - but you can certainly "hear" her when reading it!! The descriptive words were certainly there.....as was her love for SHOES!
